Successor of the M22M, the new camera is equipped with a new microprocessor and a modified system platform that enables the transmission of video images at up to 30 frames per second, even megapixel resolution. Five interchangeable lenses are available on the M24M, for an opening angle between 15 and 90 degrees: the wide-angle of 90 ° is used to monitor an entire area by placing the camera in a corner, while the telephoto lens of 15 ° can read a license plate to a distance of nearly 75 meters.
The version with manually adjustable Vario fits perfectly in places whose configuration changes often, for example on mobile sites. In configurations where the lighting conditions are particularly bad, Mobotix Night models, equipped with a monochrome sensor, will, themselves, are particularly sensitive to low light.
